Rules
The rules are super easy and guarantee maximum fun! 🎉
Objective of the Game
The objective of the game is to collect as many points as possible, just like in the classic game Categories. After 12 rounds, the player with the highest total score wins. 🏆
Preparation
At the beginning of the game, each player receives a game sheet. You can download it here for free or purchase it as a handy game pad.
How to Play
Choose a letter. The youngest player starts quietly reciting the alphabet, and another player interrupts them. The letter they have reached becomes the game letter for the first round. Each round always corresponds to one row.
Alternatively, you can use the letter strip on the game pad to determine the letter. To do this, one player runs their finger along the letter strip with their eyes closed while another player says “STOP!” out loud. The letter they are pointing to is the game letter.
Fill in the categories. Once the letter has been determined, the game begins. All players use the first row of their game pad and fill it in with words that match the respective categories.
End the round. The first player to find a word beginning with the given letter for every category clearly calls out “STOP!” All players must immediately stop writing.
Awarding points. Scoring for the current round begins immediately.
